- The SE guitar could only be purchased in a pack.
- The body on the SE is full sized (not thin)
- Serial number prefix "CAE" for early years and have sticker serial number. Many have come off over time.
- Serial number prefix "CSX" is found on newer years. Usually have the serial number printed on the headstock.
- The SE model has necks with and without a skunk stripe depending on the year. Perhaps tied to the CAE/CSX serial number prefix?
